How it works

From backpack to Done.

Homework arrives as printed sheets and packets, things written down in class, and Google Classroom. Smiley Man Homework gathers it all on your child's own phone.

  1. Capture

Your child snaps a sheet or a whole packet, picks a Classroom screenshot from Photos, types a line like "math p.45 due Fri", or says it.

  2. Reading

The app proposes each assignment with its Class and due date. Your child checks them and confirms with a tap.

  3. Tonight list and Steps

Home shows what to work on today. A big assignment can be spread over a few school days as Steps.

  4. Done, with Proof

Your child marks the work Done and can add a photo of it as Proof. A reminder helps it reach the teacher.

Due dates are read, never invented.

Your child always confirms. Nothing is saved until they say it looks right.

Read from the sheetA date counts as a due date only when the sheet ties it to "due", like "due Thurs".
Assigned, not dueA date on its own, like "Mon: Math p.44", is the day the work was handed out, never the due date.
Guessed dates are flaggedWhen nothing says when it's due, the app suggests a Guessed due date. Your child confirms it, and parent emails mark it as guessed.
No naggingGentle reminders, a quiet Streak, and no guilt. A missed day resets the Streak without a message.

For parents

Stay in the loop by email.

Parents don't need the app. You get emails and a private Parent page, and you can invite another parent to get them too.

Done email. Arrives as soon as your child marks an assignment Done, with what was finished, its Class and due date, whether it was on time, and a link to its Proof.

Daily digest. Every school day evening: what's overdue, what's due tomorrow, what was finished and added, any changes, and Guessed due dates to double-check. On Sunday it looks at the week ahead.

Parent page. A private page opened from any email, showing the week, each assignment's status and its Proof photos.
